クラシックバレエを中心としてオペラ、ゴスペルなどの衣裳をレンタルで提供する株式会社アトリエヨシノhttps://www.atelier-yoshino.com/は、役目を終えた衣裳たちの新たな活躍の場として、世界各国の学習貧困地域で教育支援活動を行うNGO団体「なかよし学園」様にバレエ衣裳100着を寄贈しました。

今回の渡航では、難民キャンプの学校で、「サプール」という華やかな衣裳を纏うイベントが行われました。サプールとは、とっておきの洋服で身を固め、町中を闊歩する平和信仰によるコンゴ共和国の風習です。隣国ウガンダでこのサプールを実現し、難民キャンプの子供たちを笑顔にしようという取り組みに、今回寄贈した衣裳が使用されました。

なかよし学園スタッフで、このサプールを企画担当してくださった北川さんによるパフォーマンスは、和やかな中でも非日常的な緊張感に包まれ素晴らしいものとなりました。
衣裳は、着用してくれた子供たちにプレゼントされました。
受けとった衣裳をみて、希望や夢を持って学ぶことの大切さを思い出してくれることを願っています。

役目を終えた衣裳とは、新作衣裳投入のためにレンタルラインナップから退いた廃番衣裳です。まだまだ活躍できるクオリティの衣裳の新しい活躍の場として、バレエに限らず幅広い可能性を探しています。
株式会社アトリエヨシノでは、平和を願い立ち上げたチャリティイベント「Ballet for Peace」の一環として、またSDGsの取り組みとして、レンタルの役目を終えた衣裳を、ボランティア、NGO団体など、平和とSDGｓに賛同し活用してくださる方へ寄贈しております。下記のフォームより、お問い合わせお待ちしております。

「We donated our used dresses for Nakayoshi Gakuen.」

We sent our 100 used ballet costumes that had finished their role in our rental service to “Nakayoshi Gakuen”, an NGO that supports education around the world, hoping they would start to work in their new role.
Nakayoshi Gakuen traveled to Uganda in this May,　and held an event, named “LITTLE SAPEUR PROJECT” , at the refugee camps.
Sapeur is a custom for peace from the Republic of the Congo, people dress in special clothing and walk around the town.
In neighboring Uganda, they had a Sapeur party using our dresses to bring smiles to children there.
Ms.Kitagawa, who is a leader of this project in Nakayoshi Gakuen, gave a peaceful and stunning performance .
The dresses were sent to the children who wore them.We wish that the costumes they received will remind them of the importance of learning with hopes and dreams.

Our used dresses are still good quality to use as ballet costumes,but they have to be replaced with new dresses.They are maintained and kept clean in our storage for a new chance to work again,not only ballet.
We donate our used dresses as part of the charity event “Ballet for Peace” launched in the hope of peace and as a work on the SDGs.We are trying to search for some partners who work using our used dresses with new ideas.
